The Architects Benevolent Society (ABS), an initiative of the IIA Kerala Chapter, hereby gives notice that the General Body Meeting (GBM) will be held as follows:
Date: Sunday, 26 July 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: Kadaleevanam, Kodakkad, Kasaragod District
All members are requested to attend the meeting without fail. Your presence and participation are essential for the effective deliberation and decision‑making of the Society.
In case if it is inconvenient to meet in person, link to join online will be posted 15 minutes before the commencement of the meeting.

• Welcome Address by Ar. Binesh Sukumar, Vice President
• Presidential Address by Ar. Shyamkumar P, President
• Presentation and Confirmation of the Minutes of the Previous General Body Meeting by Ar. Icy P. C., General Secretary
• Discussion and Approval of Amendments to:
• the ABS Bye-laws; and
• the "Surakshitham" Scheme
• Introduction of the new welfare scheme, "Hridayapoorvam"
• Introduction of the ABS Commission on Architectural Wellbeing, Professional Sustainability and Resilience, followed by an address by the members of the Commission
• Discussion on strengthening community engagement within ABS
• Discussion on key initiatives and welfare programmes for the benefit of members
• Presentation of upcoming events and activities
• Approval of the appointment of the Legal Advisor
• Consideration and adoption of resolutions
• Any other matter with the permission of the Chair
